9月20日下午，2024北京文化论坛“中国式现代化与中国道路”专业沙龙在首科大厦顺利举行。本次沙龙由北京市社会科学院，北京市社会科学界联合会、北京市哲学社会科学规划办公室共同承办，是2024北京文化论坛平行论坛“文化传承：历史文化与发展道路”的系列专业沙龙之一。沙龙由中国社会科学院中国式现代化研究院党委书记林建华教授主持，来自美国、法国、巴基斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦等国高校科研院所以及中国人民大学、复旦大学、商务部、中国社会科学院等高校和研究机构的8位知名专家学者应邀发表演讲，聚焦“中国式现代化与中国道路”主题，重点围绕中国式现代化与中国道路的理论基础、实践历程、辉煌成就、时代价值、世界意义等方面展开了深入的讨论。

On the afternoon of September 20, 2024 Beijing Cultural Forum “Chinese Modernization and Chinese Road” professional salon was successfully held in the Shouke Building. Jointly organized by the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing Federation of Social Sciences, and Beijing Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Office, this salon is one of the series of professional salons in the parallel forum “Cultural Inheritance: History, Culture, and Development Path” of 2024 Beijing Cultural Forum. The salon was presided over by Professor Lin Jianhua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Chinese Modernization of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Eight well-known experts and scholars from universities and research institutes in the United States, France, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Ministry of Commerce, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and other universities and research institutions were invited to deliver speeches. Focusing on the theme of “Chinese modernization and Chinese Road”, the paper carried out in-depth discussions on the theoretical basis, practical process, brilliant achievements, times value, and world significance of Chinese modernization and Chinese Road.

He is also the deputy director of the Center for Chinese Studies at the National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan and the founding chairman of the Global Silk Road Research Alliance, a Pakistani think tank.

泽米尔·阿万（Zamir Ahmed Awan）发表了题为《探索中国式现代主义及中国方式》的演讲。他指出，中国式现代化推动了中国的现代化进程，同时与古老传统也保持着深刻渊源。在治国理政方面，中国政府将儒家“和合”、任人唯贤和“天下大同”的理想与现代治国方略和管理有效结合，创造了既重视古人智慧又重视未来增长所需创新精神的体系。在经济方面，中国政府的现代化政策体现了中国如何将历史优势与现代经济实践巧妙结合，从而快速发展。这种方法不仅推动经济增长，还促进社会稳定，提高数百万人民的生活质量。这种模式深深植根于中国文化价值观，并针对国家的独特需求量身定制。中国式现代化为其他国家树立了灯塔，帮助它们探索如何在应对现代化挑战的同时保持其文化认同。

Zamir Ahmed Awan gave a talk entitled “Exploring Chinese Modernism and the Chinese Way”. He pointed out that Chinese-style modernization has promoted China’s modernization process while maintaining deep roots in ancient traditions. In governance, the Chinese government has effectively combined Confucian ideals of “harmony,” meritocracy, and “cosmopolitanism” with modern statecraft and management, creating a system that values both the wisdom of the ancients and the innovative spirit needed for future growth. On the economic front, the Chinese government’s modernization policy demonstrates how China has skillfully combined historical advantages with modern economic practices to achieve rapid development. This approach not only drives economic growth but also promotes social stability and improves the quality of life for millions of people. This model is deeply rooted in Chinese cultural values and tailored to the unique needs of the country. Chinese-style modernization serves as a beacon for other countries to explore how to meet the challenges of modernization while maintaining their cultural identity.
